I am searching for the Bible or copy of information in Joel B Shirley Bible as stated in Ethel Updike book about Shirley's (or Corinne Rust) Bible as stated in a Shirley association newsletter. I am working on a DAR supplemental for my grandmother's Shirley line. I would like to prove the Revolutionary military record of John Shirley Sr.(Laurens,SC), John Shirley Jr.(married Lucretia), George Shirley married Annie McNary from Newberry, SC. Apparently the marriage of John Jr. and the birth of George are recorded in this Bible. Any help or leads for this would be greatly appreciated! I believe this in line 1 Shirley.Thanks!
